
AURUM means gold in Latin. We named it AURUM because we believe that water is as or more important than any precious metals. That’s a group of friends going down some rapids in Colorado. AURUM is the standard we hold ourselves accountable to educate as much people about how much water they need to drink to stay hydrate.
AURUMWATER CO. educates on the importance of hydration to our physical and mental health. Investing in water is an obvious long term goal. We will need to clean and purified water for the rest our lives and the future inhabitants of the planet earth and that is second goal to invest in companies that are treating our water.

We think a lot of the population is living dehydrated.
Dehydration is one of the most common preventable medical conditions in the world, and it affects millions in the United States. Yet for something so common, most of us are unaware of its dangers. Here are a few things you might not know about dehydration:
According Dripdrop.com up to 75 Percent of Americans are Chronically Dehydrated. A survey of 3,003 Americans found that 75 percent likely had a net fluid loss, resulting in chronic dehydration. Although the survey found that Americans drank about eight servings of hydrating beverages per day, this is offset by drinking caffeinated beverages and alcohol and eating a diet high in sodium.
How much water do you need?
Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.
So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate need? The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is:
- About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids for men
- About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women
These recommendations cover fluids from water, other beverages and food. About 20 percent of daily fluid intake usually comes from food and the rest from drinks.

Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water and the lungs are about 83% water.
Know that we know that are vital organs are made up of mostly water we are going to want to have fresh water around all the time and for along time.
Now where are we getting are fresh clean water to hydrate ourselves.
According to National Geographic.com freshwater makes up a very small fraction of all water on the planet. While nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields. In essence, only 0.007 percent of the planet’s water is available to fuel and feed its 6.8 billion people.
We need to drink more water and invest in companies that our treating water.
